I majored in English Education in my undergraduate program, and then specialized in Comparative and World Literature in my MA Lit program. I have worked with struggling readers and valedictorians, and many, many students of varying abilities in between. I have extensive experience teaching reading, writing, and English language conventions.
I do not have as much formal experience teaching history, but from a combination of taking classes, reading extensively, and teaching texts from various times and places, I have a strong grasp of historical events and concepts.
