With a Master of Arts in Education (Reading Emphasis), I am passionate about reading literacy and helping students to realize their reading interests, abilities, and confidence. I’m also passionate about helping students to grow in confidence and skills in mathematics. There is so much joy in seeing a student go from lacking confidence and skill to feeling confident in themselves and their abilities!
I am expanding my tutoring services with the mission of helping more students to grow in their reading and mathematics abilities. I believe in and promote growth-mindset in my tutoring practice. I enjoy assisting students with their homework; while it allows me to make a connection to their classroom learning, it also enables me to weave in valuable methods and techniques to promote growth in skills and confidence.
