I’m a Neuroscience major with a strong mathematical background, and I love helping students connect abstract ideas to real-world understanding. My coursework has included biology, chemistry, psychology, and math through calculus and statistics, so I’m comfortable supporting students in science, math, and general study skills. Because I’m actively using these subjects myself, I can explain concepts in a way that feels current and relatable rather than textbook-heavy.

Most of my teaching experience comes from working one-on-one and in small study groups with other students. I’ve helped classmates review for exams, walk through problem sets step by step, and rebuild their confidence after struggling in a course. I’m patient, non-judgmental, and very used to working with students who feel anxious or “behind” in math or science.
My tutoring style is collaborative and structured. I start by asking questions to see what a student already understands, then break problems into smaller, manageable pieces. I emphasize understanding why a method works instead of just memorizing steps, and I like to finish sessions by having the student “teach back” a problem to make sure the idea has really clicked. Whether you’re looking to catch up, solidify the basics, or push ahead, I aim to create a calm, encouraging space where questions are always welcome and progress feels achievable.
