Dear Potential Students and Families,
I am a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education, along with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My passion for teaching is grounded in years of experience working with learners across elementary, junior high, and high school levels. Over the past three years, I’ve worked as a private tutor specializing in reading and English Language Arts (ELA). I’ve supported students in developing critical literacy skills, strengthening comprehension, and building the confidence they need to become independent learners. Whether in a traditional classroom or during one-on-one sessions, I’ve always aimed to create engaging, supportive environments tailored to each student’s unique learning style.
My tutoring approach is student-centered and highly personalized. I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals so I can design lessons that are both effective and meaningful. I use a variety of evidence-based strategies to help students build strong foundations in reading and writing, while also fostering a love for language and literature. I truly believe in meeting students where they are and guiding them forward with patience, consistency, and encouragement. It’s a privilege to help students gain skills that will serve them not only in academics but throughout their lives.
