I have tutored all of my children (5) throughout their school years, plus some of their friends. I have also tutored my best friend in her college courses for pre-algebra, algebra, and accounting. Math is a very favorite subject of mine. I also love reading, spelling, phonics.

I love to work with children and teach them to learn; it is wonderful to see the "light-bulb" go on when they finally understand a subject they have been struggling with. Education is the most important part of children's lives; it makes life so much easier if they know how to read and comprehend what they are reading. Also math is a skill that is need throughout their lives - so they really need to master the skills of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, at least, so that other areas of math aren't as hard to learn and comprehend.

I have assisted 7 people to reach college level and do it with great grade averages. I was a foster parent for 8 years, and then I adopted my two foster daughters. I decided to go into my husband's construction business. Our last child is in 6th grade and she is an A+ student in every subject. Study habits are very important; that is what I teach my children.
