I am a pre-medical student. I have graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with my bachelor's degree in neuroscience. I have had extensive training in the sciences. I also conducted primary research on the molecular neurobiology of suicide and depression in the department of psychiatry in the college of medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago while I was an undergraduate student.
During graduate school, my thesis was focused on infectious disease and I am a published author in a few peer-reviewed journals. I studied many viral outbreaks ranging from Ebola, Lassa, Zika, and Mumps.
