I am a graduate at Centre College, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I find teaching to be the best way to explore and express my passion for science (math, biology, chemistry specifically). I found my passion for tutoring through After School Program in college, where I helped children, age ranging from 5 to 15 with classwork and homework. My approach centers on simplifying hard concepts by providing examples relevant to my students' lives and sharing my enthusiasm for the material. I have been on the Dean's List for all four semesters of college and have a GPA of 3.92.

I scored a 780 on SAT Math and earned section scores of 128 in MCAT Biology/Biochemistry and 131 in Psychology/Sociology. I enjoy helping students strengthen content knowledge while also developing efficient strategies for passage-based and standardized-test questions. My MCAT score increased by 17 points by self-studying.

Norah is a kind, patient, and friendly tutor.

Norah was patient with me throughout my two hours I had with her for tutoring. Before my tutoring session began, she asked for the materials ahead of time so she can prepare for our session. In the session, she answered my questions, and stayed directed to our topic. She helped me learn how to set up word problems for the calculus topic linear approximation and differentials. I will be reaching out for her services again. Thank you again Norah for the help.
