I knew since high school that I really enjoyed helping people develop critical thinking skills and understand mathematical concepts, hence why I pursued a career in education.
I am a current high school math teacher and have been in education for 8 years now. I work with students that range from Pre-Algebra through Pre-Calculus, and some experience in Calculus. I ensure that my students do not feel intimidated by math and take a practical critical thinking approach, and help them understand that there are multiple ways to approach any individual task at hand. Realizing that not everyone thinks unilaterally has really expanded my skill set when working with students.
My main goal is for students to explore and improve their mathematical abilities in a fun and safe environment!
