I also provide additional practice for growth between sessions.
Having 27 years of experience educating students has given me a large toolbox of strategies to reach all kinds of learners. I have been a classroom teacher, district reading specialist/interventionist, teacher trainer, and private tutor.
Having the additional Reading Specialist Master's certification has provided me with expertise in all areas of literacy. Reading is my life's work and passion.
I have supported many families through the evaluation process of diagnosing special needs. I have also been a part of IEP/504 meetings and understand these procedures in a school setting. I also have personal experience with special needs with my own children and family members.
