Computer Science was taught to me by learning general concepts and working on problem solving skills that utilized said concepts. I approach tutoring the subject the same way, first teaching the topic and answering questions, then working on a problem from start to finish together, and finally a problem for the student to solve on their own. I try to make the lessons engaging and easily digestible by breaking things down and building from the bottom up to give solid foundations to learn from.
