Seven years ago I graduated Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Education. Each semester I was on the Dean's List and volunteered as a tutor through student services. After college I was a substitute teacher for two years. In those two years I subbed in every grade. In 2006-2007 I taught English at Murphysboro High School. I stepped away from eduction as a profession for a few years but never discontinued working with children. I volunteered at my children's daycare for three years. Today I would love to continue my passion for teaching through tutoring.
