I am a Special Education Teacher with a Master’s degree in Multicategorical Special Education from Saint Xavier University, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Applied Educational Studies from National Louis University. With over 14 years of experience in education, I have worked with students of all ages across a variety of settings, including classrooms, summer programs, and one-on-one tutoring. I currently work with high school students with intellectual disabilities and specialize in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) technology to support nonverbal and communication-delayed learners.
My teaching approach is patient, individualized, and strengths-based. I believe every student can learn when given the right support and encouragement. I have experience helping students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other learning differences build confidence in reading, academics, and communication skills. I tailor each session to meet the student where they are and create a safe, supportive space for growth.
I offer flexible online sessions during evenings and weekends. Whether your child needs help with reading, homework, study skills, or building communication confidence, I am here to support them every step of the way.
