Hi!
My name is NaBeela W, and I am thrilled to connect with you.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Advertising from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master’s in English & Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. My education has given me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective communication — essential skills for any educator.
Over the past nine years, I have dedicated myself to amplifying the stories of routinely harmed communities and connecting them with equitable resources. I have engaged in teaching roles as a facilitator at 826 National, where I worked primarily with students aged 10-18, and at AARP, leading a creative writing club for older adults. My approach incorporates interactive discussions, creative writing exercises, and personal storytelling techniques to foster a deep love for writing and self-expression in students of all ages.
I founded a publishing nonprofit [Lucky Jefferson] three years ago, supporting over 600 writers. I love mentoring emerging writers and organizing workshops that help writers hone their craft.
I look forward to supporting you however you may need it.
