I hold a Master of Science in Health Communication and a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Fine Arts. During my undergraduate studies, I completed all coursework and practicum requirements for secondary education, which gave me the chance to work directly with middle and high school students. I spent time in the classroom creating lesson plans, leading discussions, and offering one-on-one support to students who needed extra help. These experiences showed me how rewarding it can be to connect with students and watch their confidence grow.

When it comes to tutoring, I take a student-centered approach. Every learner is different, so I adapt my methods to fit their style and needs. I like to break down complex ideas into smaller, manageable steps using techniques like scaffolding and guided practice so students feel supported while gaining independence. I often incorporate visual aids, workflows, or diagrams to make abstract concepts easier to understand, especially when tackling writing structure or analyzing literature.

For English tutoring, I focus on improving reading comprehension, writing skills, and critical thinking while encouraging students to explore their own voice. Above all, I aim to create a positive, comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
