Hello!

My name is Nima, and I have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with minor in Mathematics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience. I tutor Math and Physics, and standardized test prep. I have tutored students with all levels and abilities. I have tutored students at the university level, the community college level, and high school level. Currently I am working professionally as an Electronics Engineer. I generally tutor in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago (Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Schaumburg, Palatine). I am available on weekends and Fridays to meet.

MATHEMATICS TUTORING:

I have experience tutoring students in Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Intermediate Algebra, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Calculus I, II, III , Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.

PHYSICS TUTORING:

I have experience tutoring students in Physical Science and Middle School Physics, High School Physics (Regular and Honors), and AP Physics.

I also have experience in teaching ACT (Math and Science sections only). I provide information to students on test taking skills, time management, and simple approaches to complicated problems.

Students whom I have tutored have performed exceptionally well, scoring mostly A's and B's and most of them have continued working with me throughout their high school careers.

I teach Math and Physics in the summer as well, for students who want to continue / catch up / excel in their skills, or prepare themselves for ACT.
