I'm Sabrena. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a minor in Biological engineering. Following graduation, I went on to obtain a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. In college, the classes I appreciated most were classes involving iterative complex problem solving lead by instructors and professors dedicated to the passion of inspiring the future generation of engineers. These educators instilled in me a never ending drive and fostered discipline in my personal and professional growth. Yet, they were always available and patient to assist. I try to instill the same sense of discipline and patience through the trenches of complex problem solving in my own teaching approaching. After graduating, I went on to pursue an EI certificate, having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in Civil. This allowed me the ability to work full time pursuing engineering professionally for 2 years. I bring the knowledge and experience of an established engineer, and do everything in my power to implement an engaging experience to the lessons. I feel the best way to really learn engineering is through theory and application. And I allow my students to practice both under support from a well seasoned and patient professional dedicated to their individual success.

I have 4 years tutoring experiences with my fellow engineering peers during my undergrad. I worked directly one on one with my fellow students until they felt competent to succeed in their classes, while also providing support to specific test specific study groups. In this setting, I tutored Calc I, Statics, Fluids, and Hydraulics.
