Growing up as an ELL student, I experienced what it was like not having the resources and support in my education with limited English proficiency. That is why I strive to building a relationship first to identify my teaching method. Every student has different needs and different ways of learning which is why having a strict teaching method is not my goal. My goal is to getting to know my students to determine what they need from me as an educator and how I can make their educational experience equitable and efficient for them.
I also have three years of tutoring experience and over 1,200 hours of field base experience + student teaching experience in English 1 Honors courses/ESL courses, I strive to provide a strong personalized curriculum to all types of learners! I have worked with students from all age groups and background. I have taught third grade students remotely, college students in person/remotely, and high school students. Learning more about students and their needs has only taught me how to become a stronger educator as it is a learning process for both the tutor and I.
