I am excited to work with you! My schooling includes and ADN from the College of Western Idaho, a BSN from Boise State University and an MSN from Western Governors University. I recently completed the certified nurse educator exam which focuses on how to teach to nursing students. I have been teaching at the college level for close to 8 years. Three of those were as a clinical instructor in the hospital setting. I currently work as nursing faculty at a small rural community college. I have taught fundamentals, med surge and mental health as well as assisted in lab and pharmacology. I love helping students grasp the concepts and see their critical thinking skills advance. Students tell me I have a way of explaining concepts so they understand it.
