PhD Chemistry, Educator, and Computational Chemist

I received my Bachelor's and PhD in chemistry from Brigham Young University-Idaho and Brigham Young University. As a struggling student, my professors invested their time to help me realize my potential. This has changed my life; now the desire to help others in this endeavor fuels my passion for teaching. I am particularly well attuned to the needs of my students because of my past struggles in school and have a highly adaptable teaching style.

During my undergraduate and graduate studies I had several opportunities to work as an organic chemistry tutor and teaching assistant. In my most recent teaching position, I taught general and introductory chemistry at Brigham Young University Idaho in class sizes of about 35-40 students. My most fruitful teaching sessions were one-on-one sessions with students. I'm excited about teaching and invested in my students!
