I believe that learning should be a joyful experience, but all too often mathematics becomes the subject people dread. This doesn’t have to be! With the right methods, I believe we can unlock the children’s potential and uncover many hidden talents. Currently, I’m studying at BYUI to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Math Education with a minor in Physics. This, and prior tutoring experience, enables me to tutor Kindergarten up to AP Physics B and AP Calculus. In addition to this, I gladly tutor any subject at the elementary school level. I also greatly enjoy working with ADD and am able to teach the organizational skills associated with it. Music has also played a big role in my education. After 14 years of serious violin study, I have won local and multi-state competitions and feel comfortable coaching violin and small string ensembles, as well as tutoring basic music theory and ear-training.
