If any of these apply to you, I can help. My name is Matthew F., and I am a French and Spanish instructor at NNU. I am a teacher at a local high school as well, where I teach Spanish concurrent credit classes.

I have 20 years of teaching experience - with students aged 4 - 74 - and 16 years living abroad. I'm flexible, honest, patient, but also challenging. I love teaching, tutoring, learning, but most of all witnessing the "light bulb" moment. I also love traveling back home to France, where I was born and raised.

We're super happy with Sr. Matthew!

Matthew (we call him Sr. Matthew) has been working with my 4.5 year old daughter for almost two years now. We were interested in her having some exposure to Spanish before she enters a Spanish immersion elementary. Sr. Matthew is knowledgeable and makes learning fun. He follows her lead and is very patient, which is a must for this age group. He has been very flexible regarding appointment times which we really appreciate. My daughter really looks forward to their visits.
