I easily passed the bar exams of three states. On the first I got full credit for the essays and the highest MBE score achieved to date. I've practiced law 30 years in every subject tested on the bar. I've tutored students all over the country, including both UBE and non UBE states. My clients' success rate is outstanding, even for retakers.

Law

Mitch Barker has remotely tutored over 100 students from all over the country, and he loves it. His clients include those preparing for the bar exam, along with law school students in such subjects as contracts, torts, civil procedure, real property, evidence, criminal law and procedure, constitutional law, business law, family law, business associations, appeals, trial practice, legal writing, professional responsibility, intellectual property, health law, MPRE prep, administrative law, wills/trusts and estates, sales and secured transaction, alternative dispute resolution, negotiation and many more. His average student reviews are Five Stars. Many of his students come to him struggling, panicked and ready to give up. He has an excellent track record of changing these troubled folks into successful scholars and successful bar examinees. He has helped bar applicants pass on their 2nd to 7th try. He has been accused by students of saving their careers and even their lives. He also tutors undergraduate business law and other legal related and constitution classes. He practiced law for 30 years, engaging in almost every area of law. For half of those years he owned a busy solo, general law practice. He was honored to receive the Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year award. He spent years as head of litigation at a high-volume firm, and was Deputy Attorney General for the State of Idaho. He has practice before several state and federal courts in four states, and federal and state administrative agencies. His win record on appeal is around eighty percent. He has a similar record in winning trials. Mitch's tutoring super power is taking complex legal matters, and breaking them down into understandable plain English. He is very patient, engaging and easy to get to know and work with, and he’s a master at building client confidence. He has taught persuasive writing at the college level. He has a notable talent for tutoring students who have ADHD, anxiety disorder, executive function disorders, introversion, mental illness and mos

I write superior briefs, and they have won me around 80% of my appeals.
