My name is Janah, you can call me Janz. I'm a 25 year old graduate of Bachelors of Science in Nursing with 2,505 hours of pre-graduate exposure to hospital, home, and community health care; three months Obstetric Nursing training, and staff nurse experience who is currently reviewing for NCLEX. I have one year experience in ESL, I was an online and offline teacher for a Korean English school that caters to students who want to learn English speaking, vocabulary, writing, and testing like TOEFEL; I also worked online for a Home-based Japanese ESL school. I have taught children as young as 2 years old and adults aged up to 65 years old. I also have background in public speaking and media since I was a radio DJ back in college doing on air shows, hosting, and recording radio ads. At the same time, I did on-call work for a company as a screener or promodizer, interviewing applicants based on qualifications and encouraging individuals to apply. I have firsthand knowledge in cosmetics being a freelance makeup artist as well as video production and blogging because I do both on the side. I am looking forward to being able to help you achieve your learning goals. We cover basic education for children at these age, the only difference being that my students were learning it in English, which was not their first language. This process allows for them to learn two things at once.

Excellent ESL teacher, very considerate, excelled my expectation!

I am job hunting and looked for an ESL tutor to help with my oral English. It was such a pleasure to learn from Janz. We met almost three hours a day, she was really helpful and well prepared for the classes. As an ESL teacher, she clearly identified where I needed improvements and suggested useful tips to help me, no matter in grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, or tense. What's more, she gave me very practical suggestions on interview techniques and role played with me to practice. That was far beyond my expectation! I do make progresses in my oral English and I am more confident on my interviews thanks to Janz's help! Janz is an excellent ESL teacher, she is fully competent, proactive, helpful, and easy going. Highly recommend!
