Hi all! I graduated from the University of Idaho in the spring of 2016 with Bachelor's in Physics and Mathematics. I will have completed my Master's in Education in the spring of 2020. I teach high school math and physics at a rural school in southern Idaho. While my passion lies in astrophysics, I am also very fond of advanced mathematics (calculus and above). I have two published papers in The Astrophysical Journal.

I teach high school math and physics at a rural school in southern Idaho. While my passion lies in astrophysics, I am also very fond of advanced mathematics (calculus and above). I have quite a bit of experience working with a range of students, from "mathematically challenged" (although I believe there is no such thing!), to mathematically talented looking for a challenge.
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and have always excelled in math and found myself tutoring my my peers. Since then, I have made a career of teaching math to high school students.
Science has always been one of my favorite subjects (although I didn't enjoy biology or chemistry because of the teacher). I loved it so much that I made physics my chosen career path and even published two papers in a peer-reviewed journal! I have since made a career of teaching physics to high school students.
