I work with students who needed to prepare for Toastmasters, scenes on stage and screen, professional presentations, and academic lectures. Some of my students are native speakers of English and they need to learn strategies such as accent reduction, vocabulary selection, stage posture, voice projection, breathing and pausing. Others are speakers of foreign languages who need the same skills in their own language or, if the target language is English, they need phonetic correction, enunciation/pronunciation clarification, accent control, and vocabulary management. I have worked with actors and voice actors in English, Spanish, French, and Italian. I have presented (with an without microphone) in front of audiences of up to 700 people, have led countless orientation sessions for overseas studies students at Stanford University, and I was a multi-lingual tour guide and events Master of Ceremonies at Club Med for 5 years.
