Hi, I’m Lydia! I’m a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in special and elementary education. I have several years of experience working with students in kindergarten through 12th grade. I’ve worked in elementary and high school classrooms, including general education, special education resource rooms, and behavior support settings. I regularly support students one-on-one and in small groups, helping them strengthen academic skills while also building confidence and independence. Because of my consistency and ability to connect with students, I’m highly requested within my district.
I specialize in reading comprehension, writing and grammar, foundational math, study skills, executive functioning, and ESL support. My background in behavior intervention allows me to effectively support students who struggle with focus, organization, or motivation. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps and tailor instruction to each student’s learning style.
My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and individualized. I believe students learn best when they feel understood and capable, so I focus on building both skill and confidence in every session.
I look forward to working with students who are ready to grow and reach their goals!
