I love to stay busy teaching, learning, experimenting and discovering new things. If you could step into my classroom you would find lots of centers filled with interesting hands on kinds of gadgets and gizmos, plants and animals. If I could, I would have a magic school bus like Ms. Frizzle because I love field trips to interesting places that help us discover and learn about the world around us. I have lots of experience teaching students of all ages, from preschool to adults in various parts of the country over the past three decades. I believe students learn in a variety of ways and like to adjust my tutoring and teaching methods to a students individual needs and comfort levels. And I am not afraid to try things that are considered outside the box. I have several degrees from early childhood to special education and I am a mom who has home schooled my kids at times. I am experienced at traditional classroom teaching and one room school house options with multiple grades together and I am not afraid of snakes, bugs, frogs or students who think they can't do something. Together we can accomplish great things.
