Hi! I’m a Montessori-trained educator with over 10 years of experience working with young children, specializing in early reading, foundational math, and building confidence in learning. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and have spent my career supporting children ages 3–9 through individualized, hands-on instruction.
My teaching approach is rooted in meeting each child where they are. Whether your child is just beginning to recognize letters, learning to read, or needing extra support to stay focused and organized, I create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to their specific needs. I have extensive experience helping children who may feel frustrated, behind, or hesitant with schoolwork, and I focus on building both skills and confidence.
As a Montessori educator, I emphasize independence, structure, and a deep understanding of concepts rather than memorization. I also incorporate executive functioning strategies, such as organization, focus, and task completion, so students develop skills that support long-term success in school. I understand that every child learns differently, and I strive to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and growing. I also value strong communication with parents and will keep you updated on progress and strategies you can use at home.
If you’re looking for a patient, experienced educator who can support your child’s reading, foundational skills, and overall confidence, I would love to work with you!
