Hi everyone, my name is Preston H, and I graduated from Boise State University Summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Cellular, Molecular, and Biomedical Biology. Following my undergraduate graduation, I lived in Salt Lake City, where I did virus research at the University of Utah. After working in Salt Lake City, I moved back to Boise to join the Molecular Biology PhD program at Boise State University, where I am currently a third-year Molecular Biology PhD candidate. Through these experiences, I have learned an immense amount about biology and scientific research while also gaining a great understanding of what it takes to be academically successful in any course.
In addition to my schooling and work experience I have over 3 years of experience tutoring a wide array of students and subjects ranging from middle schoolers to undergraduate students. I have primarily tutored students in general biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and statistics, but have also spent time tutoring English second language high school students in a wide array of high school subjects. From my time tutoring I have developed a passion for being able to help others both understand and succeed in the subject that is being taught and understand what it takes to be successful throughout their current and future courses.
