I have a multiple subject teaching credential with 19 years experience in the classroom. I am Orton-Gillingham trained and use a multi-sensory approach when teaching reading, phonics, spelling and writing. I enjoy teaching elementary age children and specialize in helping students catch up in reading and spelling.

I specialize in reading and phonics. I enjoy working with young learners and helping them build their confidence! I am patient, enthusiastic and eager to help your child! I have experience designing lessons specific to a child’s needs. I have worked with all learners including Multilingual Learners, students with ADHD and Dyslexia.

I am available to tutor online or in person.

I graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Liberal Studies. I have completed a comprehensive Orton-Gillingham training along with multiple Science of Reading trainings for the most current and up to date methods of teaching reading.
