I am currently a kindergarten teacher in Idaho with a Multiple Subject teaching credential (K-8). I have an extensive background in education with 18 years experience. I’ve taught 12 years of kindergarten, 3 years of first grade and 3 years of second grade. I have taught reading and phonics with a focus in phonemic awareness, fluency, sight word recognition, comprehension, vocabulary and spelling. I have experience tutoring in an after school homework center. In addition to teaching, I’ve tutored students in phonics and reading.

Knowledgeable and patient

Mrs. Stefanie has been working with my son for the past six months and the progress he has made in English is beyond amazing because of her 🥰. As well, in the summer, we’ve been focusing more on math in order to be ready for first grade and. Mrs. Stefanie is very patient even though my son had his moments, but the instruction planned for each lesson still gets completed. Thank you for everything.
