I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Western Governors University, where my coursework included Algebra I & II, Statistics, Probability, and Calculus. These studies strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, which I apply when helping students understand mathematical concepts.
In addition to my formal education, I have several years of practical tutoring experience through homeschooling my own children. I have worked with my sons and daughters across elementary, middle school, and high school levels, helping them develop confidence in subjects such as mathematics, logical reasoning, and general academic skills. I have also assisted my stepdaughters in Colombia with their studies, giving me experience supporting students from different educational backgrounds.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and building foundational understanding rather than simple memorization. I break complex concepts into smaller steps, encourage students to ask questions freely, and adapt my explanations to match each student's learning style.
My goal is not only to help students complete assignments, but to help them truly understand the material so they can solve problems independently and gain confidence in their abilities.
