My schedule consisted of sheltered English classrooms where students learned reading, writing, speaking, and listening in social and academic contexts. I also assisted other educators in their content areas as well. I regularly modified assignments. I currently work in an Elementary school with ELL students as well. I work 1-1 with students and in small groups. I love teaching and working in the field I work in because the groups are smaller and sometimes 1-1. I can individualize student learning and provide specific accommodations for students based on their needs.
I believe in building relationships with my students. I want to learn about your interests and incorporate them into our lessons as much as I can. I love to learn, and I want to encourage and spark a love for learning in my students. My goal as an educator is to show students how fun learning can be.
I love the English language. I am fascinated by how we use language. I bring this enthusiasm to my teaching and show students how useful and interesting English and language are.
