About Pam

Bio

I have been tutoring on various platforms for over 19 years. I have been homeschooling my own children for the past 20 years. I have graduated 5, 3 are still in college, and have a few at home - one high schooler, one middle schooler, and one in elementary. I have a BA in accounting and another in ESL/English. My goal is to find strengths in each individual and cater the tutoring to their learning style.

I have an Accounting degree and have homeschooled 8 children who have all scored high in math. I think Mary can be fun if presented in a way that is meaningful for the student. No one wants to just “crunch numbers” with no reason as to why it is relevant.

I have a deree in ESL from the University of Northern Iowa. I spent the last 4 years teaching English to Chinese students online.

I have been homeschooling my 8 children for 20+ years. I have a son who is an Architect, a son with special needs (now lives at home and works part time), 3 in college, one in high school, one in middle school, and one in elementary school right now. I have worked with them from K-12 and have tried a variety of curriculum.
