I've seen firsthand how confusing it can be to navigate the world of research and mathematics. My approach is based on my experience as Instructor Coordinator for the SPSS lab at the University of Oregon's Department of Psychology. In that job, I learned how to walk both students through the whole thesis lifecycle, from the initial spark of a concept to the final APA formatting of a paper. Because I understand how intimidating math may be, I make my sessions simple and logic-based. I specialize in simplifying formulas into "plain English"

Psychology (General) with Honors from Concordia University Portland, and a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Oregon (both with honors) maintaining a 4.18 GPA in Sociology and a 4.03 GPA in Psychology, and I am a Certified International Master of Tutoring.
