Hi, my name is Davis! I am an occupational therapist with a passion for helping others pass the board exam! I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Gerontology, and a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. I have been tutoring graduate and undergraduate students in the writing lab for 5 years. My personal philosophy is to set students up for success by teaching skills to work through problems and to become confident in their abilities. I believe that each student is unique and requires an individual study plan and individual skills to enhance their confidence.
I am very passionate about tutoring writing! Throughout my undergraduate and graduate college career, I worked in the writing lab a peer tutor. Our philosophy in the writing lab was to use each student's writing piece and an opportunity to create better writers and set up students for success in all current and future writing opportunities. I even presented at the Midwest Regional Writing Lab Conference.
As an occupational therapist, I have the skill set to work with students and build unique plans that highlight their strengths and create a plan to fill in any knowledge gaps. I know that each student has a unique way of learning and we will work together to create a plan that works best for the student.
Please contact me to learn more about motivation, and help to work through problems on the occupational therapy board examination. I am passionate about helping others pass this exam and setting them up for success on their future careers and endeavors!
