Hi, I'm Erin! I love reading and can provide support for elementary students learning or struggling with reading. I have experience working one-on-one and in small groups with elementary students learning to read. I like to find reading materials that interest and engage students so we can have fun while we're learning. We can work on decoding skills, reading comprehension, and building fluency.
I have been tutoring elementary and middle grade students online for seven years in English as a second language. I have TESOL/TEFL certification to teach English as a foreign language. I have also worked for three years tutoring elementary students online in reading and math. I enjoy teaching so much that I decided to go back to school to get another degree, so I am a current university student working to receive my Elementary Education teaching license with a minor in Literacy. I will graduate in spring, 2027. I have already passed the Foundations of Reading Test and am qualified to teach using the science of reading methods.
