About Katelynn

Bio

Hi there! I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery through the Midwives College of Utah. My coursework has given me a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, reproductive health, and medical terminology — all subjects I love making easier for others to understand. I also work hands-on in clinical settings alongside licensed midwives, where I regularly explain health concepts to clients and students in a clear, supportive way.

While I haven’t tutored in an official setting before, I have a lot of experience helping classmates and peers study for exams and grasp difficult topics. I’ve learned that everyone studies differently, and I enjoy finding creative, down-to-earth ways to help information “click.” My approach focuses on simplifying complex material, connecting it to real-world examples, and building genuine confidence instead of memorization.

Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with anatomy terms, or just need someone to help you stay organized and on track, I’d love to support you in reaching your goals.

Swimming

I’ve been involved in swimming for most of my life — I competed from 5th grade through 12th grade and gained experience in a variety of strokes and training techniques. During high school, I also helped coach middle school swimmers, where I worked with 7th and 8th graders on stroke form, endurance, and building confidence in the water. I love helping swimmers of all levels improve their technique, feel more comfortable in the pool, and actually enjoy the process of getting stronger and faster. Whether you’re just learning the basics or want to fine-tune your competitive skills, I’m happy to meet you where you’re at and help you reach your goals.
