I have a Bachelor's degree in History and Anthropology, as well as a Master's degree in both History and Political Science. I have been teaching history and political science at a Community College for the past thirteen years, including United States History, Western Civilization, African American History, American Government, World Issues, and Middle East Studies.
I love teaching students and helping them gain an appreciation of the subject matter. I began tutoring 18 years ago as a college student. I have continued to have an open door policy for all of my current students, as I keep "student hours" to offer any help that they need. I have also offered my services online as a paper proofreading tutor in the past. I like to help students succeed in finding their own voice, I believe that I can help give them confidence when working on assignments, particularly written work. I have also scored Advanced Placement exams for the past two summers, so I understand what students must do succeed in AP tests. While I typically teach Community College students, many of my students are concurrently enrolled high schoolers. I can help with Middle School homework as well.
