Experienced Math and Computer Science Tutor - Helping Students Excel

Dayaan M.

Knowledgeable and presentable tutor!!

I’ve had an incredible experience working with Dayaan as my math tutor, and I genuinely cannot recommend him enough. From the very beginning, he made even the most difficult math concepts feel much easier to understand. What really sets him apart is his patience and the way he explains things step by step without ever making me feel embarrassed for asking questions. He takes the time to make sure I truly understand the reasoning behind each problem instead of just memorizing formulas or methods. Before I started tutoring with him, I often felt stressed and overwhelmed when it came to math, especially with more challenging topics. However, after working with Dayaan, my confidence improved significantly. He helped me develop stronger problem-solving skills, think more critically, and approach questions in a much more organized way. Because of his teaching style, I’ve seen a major improvement not only in my grades but also in my overall understanding of math. One thing I especially appreciate is how dedicated and supportive he is during every session. He always comes prepared, explains concepts clearly, and adapts his teaching style depending on what I need help with most. He is also very encouraging and creates a comfortable learning environment that makes it easier to stay motivated and ask questions freely. Even when we work on difficult problems, he stays calm and positive, which really helps reduce stress and makes learning much more enjoyable. Dayaan is not only extremely knowledgeable in math, but he is also an amazing teacher and mentor. His ability to break down complicated topics into simple explanations has made a huge difference in my academic performance and confidence. I truly appreciate all the effort and time he puts into helping his students succeed. I would highly recommend Dayaan to anyone looking for a reliable, patient, and highly effective math tutor.

Thank you so much for your kind words! It truly means a lot to me. It has honestly been a pleasure teaching you, and I am very proud of all the hard work and dedication you continue to put into every session and every test. What impresses me most is not just the amazing grades you earn, but the effort behind them. You always make sure to ask questions, understand the concepts deeply, and never settle for simply memorizing steps. That mindset is exactly why you continue to succeed. And this time, you finally got that 100% we always joked about after all those “almost perfect” 95s and 98s (just kidding)! You definitely earned it. Seeing your confidence and problem-solving skills grow over time has been incredibly rewarding for me as a tutor. You are a very bright and hardworking student, and I truly appreciate the trust you place in me to help guide you through these topics. It will always be a pleasure teaching you, and I look forward to continuing to see you succeed in the future :)))

Patient , and knowledgeable

Dayaan M. has been helping me with my dosage calculations class, and he was actually my first tutor on this app. I chose to stick with him because he has been such a great help. Dosage calculations is a very difficult class, especially when you are learning the nursing terminology and trying to understand what each problem is asking you to calculate. Dayaan does an amazing job of breaking down dosage calculation problems step by step and making the math portion much easier to understand. He has helped me feel more comfortable and confident when working through calculations that initially seemed overwhelming. I really appreciate his patience, teaching style, and ability to make dosage calculations feel much more manageable.

My daughter worked with Dayaan for the first time this evening to prep for an upcoming Algebra II exam. He was extremely helpful and explained the concepts in a clear, easy-to-follow manner. He was engaging, patient and helped build my daughter’s confidence with the material. Will definitely work with him again!

Patient and smart tutor

Dayaan has been helping my daughter with Calc and it has been a great experience. He makes sure she understands everything before moving on. My daughter has commented how happy she has been with the pacing and spending time where it is needed and moving forward when she understands. I would highly recommend Dayaan.

Tutor responded:

Thank you so much for this review, it really means a lot! I'm glad the pacing has been working well for her, that is something I always try to get right since every student needs a different amount of time on each topic. She asks good questions and that makes my job easy. Looking forward to our next session and to seeing her keep building on this :))

Patient, Encouraging, and Great With Visual Learners

We’ve used Wyzant a few times for both of our children, and I was so thankful to find Dayaan when we needed help on short notice. My son just entered sixth grade and was placed in pre-algebra. He had six pages of homework on top of his work from his other classes, and I was looking for someone available that same evening who could help him understand the material without simply giving him the answers. Dayaan did exactly that. He provided the right amount of guidance, asked questions that helped my son work through his thought process, and allowed him to arrive at the answers himself. I also really appreciated that he used the whiteboard throughout the session because my son is a visual learner, and being able to see the problems worked through made a huge difference. After the tutoring session, my son was able to finish the rest of his homework confidently on his own. As a mom, that’s really all you can ask for. Math homework can be challenging to help your kids with, so watching it finally click and seeing him breeze through the rest was such a relief. We were very thankful for Dayaan’s help and would absolutely use him again.

Thank you so much for this review! I'm really glad the whiteboard helped, it makes a big difference for visual learners to actually see each step as it happens. Hearing that he finished the rest of his homework on his own afterward is exactly what I am going for, since the goal is always for him to not need me for the next one. Please feel free to reach out anytime he needs help :))

Very knowledgeable and patient

I am a freshman and my intro computer science class is something very new for me. Dayan explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and he takes time and does not rush.

Thank you so much! Intro computer science is a lot to take in at first, especially when it is all brand new, so it is great to hear that it is starting to click. You have been putting in the work and it really shows. Looking forward to our future sessions and to getting you through the rest of the course :))
