Through my coursework, I have gained experience explaining complex concepts in anatomy, physiology, biology, and general health topics in clear, approachable ways.
I have worked as a volunteer one-on-one tutor for elementary-aged students, supporting them in math, science, and English. During these sessions, I focus on meeting students where they are, encouraging them to ask questions, and breaking down each problem into steps they can follow with confidence. My approach is to guide them through the process rather than simply give them the answer, helping them build problem-solving skills and a stronger understanding of the material. I also try to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and flexible.
