Hi! My name is Chloe, and I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. I scored a 35 on the ACT and a 1580 on the SAT. As a science major and researcher at both Loyola University Chicago and Northwestern University, I have extensive experience working with and analyzing scientific data. I have been tutoring students for the ACT & SAT for two years. I also specialize in teaching the core subjects of primary school: English, Math, Science, Writing, and Reading. I have worked with students aged 5-19 in both small groups and one-on-one sessions.

I have worked with students with learning disabilities and can tailor my programs to aid those with highly specific needs. Over the course of my tutoring career, I accumulated more than fifty 5-star reviews. I work with students to identify their strengths and weaknesses through diagnostic tests and practice tests. I can provide resources to students, or use the resources they already have. I aim to make lessons as enjoyable and comprehensive as possible. I use goal-oriented lesson plans to streamline each tutoring session. I believe that practice solidifies any concept and I always provide students with homework based on each session.

I can offer support for students going through the college entry process by proofreading entry essays and applications as well as offering guidance in choosing colleges. I applied to 18 different universities and was accepted to all of them, so I am very familiar with what is expected of students and the navigation of application portals.

I have mastered the skills tested on the ACT/SAT and I am confident to share tips and tricks with students to achieve their target score. I hope to establish a comfortable relationship with each of my students to make learning fun and easy. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
