Victor and I worked on configuring my computer properly (correct version of Python and pip, useful text editor, and git and bash commands in terminal) so that I can work on running scripts off Github and eventually work towards writing my own. He is clearly well-versed in computer programming as he was able to answer all of my questions, even the tangential and obscure ones, that I had about the software that we were working with. What I accomplished in this hour would have taken me 10 had I not worked with Victor.

Not Victor's fault, but could not get configuration to work on my end. Victor will bend over backwards to help you. I would recommend ensuring that you and your tutor are utilizing the same compiler or software. This is probably a standard hangup for most people in this situation.
