I have been teaching mathematics for the last 25 years. I believe that all students can learn and excel if given the opportunity to do so. Believing you can do it is half the battle. I know that confidence plays a major role in a student's feeling about and success in this subject.
Math is a beautiful subject if taught properly. There are a variety of methods that can be used all to arrive at the same answer. It's not so much the destination as it is the journey.
