The ability to write and speak correctly and effectively is a prerequisite for doing well in all subjects. I feel that writing, as well as speaking skills, are very important in school, and when seeking a job and trying to succeed in a chosen career. I believe that the ideal resource for everyone who wants to produce excellent writing is that it is clear, concise, and grammatically excellent. The guidelines for excellent writing should include: understanding the parts of speech and elements of a sentence, avoiding the most common grammar and punctuation mistakes, using correct punctuation in every sentence, and writing directly and clearly.
