Once upon a time, before law school, I was an in person/classroom test prep tutor at Kaplan (SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and in a pinch MCAT physics) for two years where I also did graduate school application essay editing.
I have in addition been a private tutor for hire (and for my own three keiki) in various math classes, accounting, economics and water polo.
For any subject, I believe strongly in mastering first principles to build a solid foundation for progressive learning and understanding which can last a lifetime. Then again, there will be times when an athlete needs to clear an SAT minimum to qualify for NCAA recruiting (which I have done as well).
