Aloha e Everyone.
I am a former Wall Street trained finance professional turned SAHD who very much wants to return to my teaching roots. I have a diverse Educational background - Son of Iolani (top 5 GPA graduate), Harvard University (Gov't & Economics), University of Michigan (JD), and University of Chicago (MBA - finance and accounting).
Once upon a time, before law school, I was an in person/classroom test prep tutor at Kaplan (SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and in a pinch MCAT physics) for two...

I am a former Wall Street trained finance professional turned SAHD who very much wants to return to my teaching roots. I have a diverse Educational background - Son of Iolani (top 5 GPA graduate), Harvard University (Gov't & Economics), University of Michigan (JD), and University of Chicago (MBA - finance and accounting).
Once upon a time, before law school, I was an in person/classroom test prep tutor at Kaplan (SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and in a pinch MCAT physics) for two years where I also did graduate school application essay editing.
I have in addition been a private tutor for hire (and for my own three keiki) in various math classes, accounting, economics and water polo.
For any subject, I believe strongly in mastering first principles to build a solid foundation for progressive learning and understanding which can last a lifetime. Then again, there will be times when an athlete needs to clear an SAT minimum to qualify for NCAA recruiting (which I have done as well).

Makes Learning Simple

Cliff takes complicated topics and breaks them down into simple explanations. Before our sessions, I had sent him some of my practice sets. He worked through them ahead of time and showed me multiple ways the problems balanced out in the end when I was struggling.
