In the past, I was a teaching assistant at Colorado State University for intro to biology courses, intro to plant biology, ecology, and plant ecology. I taught for 6 semesters and helped with course design and student understanding. I helped students one on one outside of the classroom during office hours as well. I also have helped tutor elementary and middle school kids through volunteer programs for refugees.
My teaching style is based all around active learning. I think it's best that we work through your understanding and I ask you questions until you can reach the answer on your own. I also like to make learning fun or a little silly, because I think that's how people learn best! I'm excited to help you reach your goals!
