I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where I honed my skills in leadership, communication, and academic excellence. As a seasoned educator, I currently serve as the College and Career Coordinator and Leadership Lab Teacher at Kealakehe High School, where I have been working since 2022. In this role, I have guided students in preparing for college and careers through resume building, essay writing, and developing leadership skills. My approach includes one-on-one sessions, workshops, and classroom instruction, supporting students in crafting personal statements, building their college lists, and navigating complex application processes. My efforts have resulted in students gaining admissions and scholarships at top universities like Princeton, Dartmouth, Tulane, Boston College, and Columbia.

Before this role, I served as a Special Education Classroom Assistant at Kahakai Elementary School, supporting third-grade students in reading and writing. This experience helped me develop a love for teaching and a student-centered approach that tailors learning to individual needs. My methods combine structured guidance with fostering independence and critical thinking skills in students.

Additionally, I bring experience in career exploration and academic support, having organized and conducted college prep workshops, developed customized curricula, and improved FAFSA and application completion rates at my current school. My teaching spans diverse age groups and abilities, from elementary to high school students, both in classroom settings and individualized environments.
