I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist with three years of full time practice experience in the following areas: CCU, CVICU, MED-SURG, TELE, L&D, NICU, PICU, & ER. Primary practice experience is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Labor & Delivery. I am a recent graduate of the Kapiolani Community College A.S. Respiratory Care Practitioner program. Prior to my A.S. in Respiratory I attended Hawaii Pacific University where I graduated with my B.S. in Biology with focus in Human Health Sciences. With my educational background I am well suited in breaking down complex subjects such as the pathophysiology of cystic fibrosis to core respiratory subjects such as Mechanical Ventilation and Arterial Blood Gas Analysis.

I currently practice in a 300 bed medical center working with all patient populations from the cradle to the grave.

Prior to my A.S. In Respiratory Care I attended Hawaii Pacific University where I graduated with my B.S. in Biology with focus in Human Health Sciences. I have spent a great deal of my academic career dedicated to the natural sciences and because of it feel very well suited in being able to teach these subjects especially as it relates to the practice of Respiratory Therapy.

I am located in Hawaii and work the night shift affecting my availability. I am however flexible and can work out meeting times as my schedule permits.
