I bring an interdisciplinary background to tutoring and counseling with formal training across biology, engineering, and business. I studied biology as an undergraduate, earned an MBA, and am pursuing an MD and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering focused on materials and biotechnology. I have conducted research with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Harvard. My training has required mastery of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, MCAT subjects, and beyond allowing me to teach these subjects in a connected and intuitive way.

I tutor students from middle school through college in Algebra (equations, functions, polynomials), Geometry (angles, triangles, proofs), Biology (cell biology, genetics, physiology), and Chemistry (stoichiometry, reactions, equilibrium, acids/bases, organic mechanisms), as well as MCAT preparation and MBA topics such as economics, marketing, and business strategy. I have also worked as a chemistry lab teaching assistant, leading experiments and reinforcing core concepts, which informs my practical, application-focused teaching style. I also provide college counseling (undergraduate and graduate applications, medical school applications, personal statements) and career development (academic planning, MD/PhD pathways, etc).

My approach focuses on breaking complex ideas into clear, step-by-step reasoning. I help students understand how to think through problems, not just memorize, while building confidence and strong study and test-taking skills.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I am a PhD student in engineering with a strong quantitative background and experience tutoring Algebra 1 students at different skill levels. I specialize in breaking down equations, functions, and word problems into clear, step-by-step methods that students can follow with confidence. Through my tutoring, I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind each step so they can apply concepts independently. My sessions are personalized to build strong foundations, improve accuracy, and boost confidence over time.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I am a PhD student in engineering with a strong quantitative background and experience tutoring Algebra 2 students at a range of levels. I help students master more advanced topics like functions, polynomials, logarithms, and systems by breaking them down into clear, step-by-step approaches. My focus is on building real understanding—so students can confidently tackle unfamiliar problems, not just repeat memorized steps. I tailor each session to strengthen weak areas, improve accuracy, and build long-term confidence in math.
Biology

Biology

I have a background in medical and graduate-level training (MD/PhD track) with a strong foundation in biology from both undergraduate and advanced study. I have experience tutoring biology to both high school and college students, helping them understand everything from core concepts to more complex systems. I focus on breaking down topics like cell biology, genetics, physiology, and biochemistry into clear, intuitive explanations. My approach is personalized and designed to help students not just memorize, but truly understand and apply biological concepts with confidence.
Career Development

Career Development

I provide career development coaching for students pursuing paths in medicine, research, and business, with experience spanning Harvard research, the NIH, MD/PhD training, and an MBA. I help students think strategically about their academic and career decisions, whether they’re exploring options or preparing for competitive opportunities. My approach focuses on building a clear narrative, aligning experiences with long-term goals, and making informed, high-impact choices. I work closely with students to develop practical plans that position them for success across both academic and professional paths.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I am an engineering PhD student with research experience in a chemical engineering lab and two pending patents related to applied materials and chemical systems. I have experience tutoring both high school and college students, and I’ve worked as a chemistry lab teaching assistant, leading experiments and helping students understand core concepts in a hands-on setting. I specialize in breaking down chemistry into clear, step-by-step approaches that make complex topics easier to grasp. My focus is on building real understanding so students can confidently handle exams, assignments, and laboratory work.
Geometry

Geometry

I am a PhD student in engineering with a strong quantitative background, and I specialize in making geometry clear and intuitive. I break down concepts into step-by-step methods so students can confidently approach proofs, diagrams, and multi-step problems. My focus is on teaching how to think through geometry logically, not just memorize formulas. I tailor sessions to each student to build both understanding and consistent results.
MBA

MBA

I earned my MBA from West Chester University of Pennsylvania (GPA 3.8), where I developed a strong foundation in strategy, finance, and business analytics. I tutor a range of business courses, including economics, marketing, and management, helping students break down complex concepts into clear, practical frameworks. I’ve also been involved in startup ventures, giving me hands-on experience with real-world decision-making, growth strategy, and operations. In my tutoring, I focus on helping students understand how to think through problems—connecting theory to real applications so they can succeed in both ancademic and business settings.
MCAT

MCAT

I scored a 511 (82nd percentile) on the MCAT with strong section scores—129 C/P, 127 CARS, 128 B/B, and 127 P/S—and earned acceptance to multiple MD programs. I have experience tutoring MCAT students, where I focus on teaching a clear framework for thinking through passages and questions rather than just memorizing content. I help students break down complex problems, identify what the question is really asking, and apply efficient strategies to arrive at the correct answer. My approach is structured, personalized, and designed to build both confidence and consistent score improvement
