Qualified teacher who loves all types of Math

I always loved Math as a student and gave my friends extra lessons throughout my school career. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, and worked in the industrial chemical field for ten years before having my children. When it was time to begin my "second career", I decided to follow my passion: teaching Math! I tutored students at my home for two years, and then started teaching at a small, private school for students who needed flexibility, and/or had special needs. While teaching at this school, I completed my Masters in Teaching (M.A.T.) through the University of Mississippi.
I love sharing my knowledge of, and passion for, mathematics. There is no better feeling in this world than hearing a student say "oh, now I get it!" or "I actually like Math now!"

I have experience teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, and Probability & Statistics. Throughout my schooling and studies, I finished top of my class. This means that I have extremely good content knowledge. I also have experience teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. This gives me great insight into where and how Math fits into these other subjects. My broad teaching and life experience allow me to approach my students' problems and obstacles from many different angles - never giving up until they understand.
